The HR12 impresses with its high line count resolution, robust bearing construction, and wide-ranging radial and axial shaft play tolerance. Featuring commutation for brushless motor control, a strain-relieved cable, and quadrature output with an index pulse and three-phase commutation courtesy of industrial 26C31 differential drivers, it offers more than modular encoders. Its flexible member allows for larger tail shaft run out and TIR, along with 30 degrees of rotation for commutation timing.
