The IMA, a unified linear servo actuator, comes in a compact, robust package. It is available in both ball and roller screw configurations and the IMA servo linear actuators can exert forces up to 6875 lbs, even in high-duty cycle scenarios. The IMA employs a standard servo motor that works with multiple feedback types and features a food-grade coating suitable for sanitary wash-down applications.
