The IMA, a cohesive linear servo actuator, is incorporated into a compact, resilient shell. It's available in both ball and roller screw designs and can produce forces up to 6875 lbs, even under high duty cycle conditions. The IMA employs a standard servo motor that works with a variety of feedback types and comes with a food-grade coating suitable for sanitary wash-down scenarios.
