The IMA is a complete linear servo actuator design, housed in a compact, durable package. It's available in both ball and roller screw configurations, with the IMA servo linear actuators capable of exerting forces of up to 6875 lbs, even in high duty cycle applications. The IMA utilizes a standard servo motor compatible with many feedback types and includes a food-grade coating for sanitary wash-down purposes.
